1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Through the Plate, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Nature of Service

Through the Plate is a technology platform that:

  • Enables clients to upload meal photos

  • Enables practitioners to provide feedback

  • Allows tracking of dietary progress

We do not provide medical advice or clinical services. All health advice is provided independently by practitioners.

3. Practitioner Responsibilities

Practitioners agree to:

  • Hold appropriate qualifications and registrations

  • Comply with professional standards

  • Maintain client confidentiality

  • Use the platform ethically and lawfully

Through the Plate is not liable for practitioner advice or conduct.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Use the platform respectfully

  • Not upload unlawful, abusive, or inappropriate content

5. Account Security

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining password confidentiality

  • All activity under their account

We reserve the right to suspend accounts for misuse.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, software, and design are the property of Through the Plate.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, or modify content without written consent.

7. Payment & Subscriptions

  • Pricing plans are subscription-based unless otherwise stated

  • Payments are processed securely via third-party providers

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance

Failure to pay may result in account suspension.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss

  • We are not responsible for practitioner advice or outcomes

  • Platform availability is not guaranteed uninterrupted

Nothing in these terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Breach of terms

  • Non-payment

  • Misuse of platform

Users may cancel subscriptions at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
